Charles and Beatrice Wetzelberger, members of Good Shepherd Church, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary July 26. Mrs. Wetzelberger, the former Beatrice Hedges, is a retired licensed practical nurse. Mr. Wetzelberger is a professional musician and retired Greyhound bus driver. The couple have a son and a granddaughter.
Mr. and Mrs. James Brangers, members of St. Ambrose Church in Cecilia, Ky., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary today, July 22. Mrs. Brangers, the former Marcella Huelsman, is vice president of A.L. Hansen Paint and Metal. Mr. Brangers is president of A.L. Hansen Paint and Metal. The couple have five children, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Ken and Jan (Sulzer) Martin, members of St. Louis Bertrand Church, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today, July 22. Mrs. Martin retired from Jefferson County Public Schools in 1995 after 22 years of service. Mr. Martin retired in 1998 from The Courier-Journal after 32 years of service. The couple have three children (one is deceased), two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. They celebrated with a family vacation.July 22
