The Record staff relies upon Catholics from around the Archdiocese of Louisville to share what’s happening in their parishes, schools and Catholic organizations. We write each week about the good work of the people of the archdiocese in feature stories, news stories, calendar listings and news briefs. Our submission deadline each week is Thursday at noon. News announcements should be submitted for consideration three weeks in advance, when possible.

*A note about photos: To be considered for publication, photos must be high resolution and unposed. Please include a description of the photo and the parish, school, names, ages and grades (of students) of those pictured. Please list them from left to right.
Bulletin Board (Calendar) Announcements
Brief news items about upcoming events in Catholic parishes, schools and organizations should be submitted three weeks in advance of the desired publication date, when possible. The final deadline for submissions is noon each Thursday for the following week’s paper. Items will be considered for publication, space permitting. A note about holidays:
The Record publishes 48 issues a year. We do not publish during the first week of July, the first week of August, the week of Christmas and the week of New Year’s Day.
