Workshop on the role of women in the church is set for March 5

“Catholic Women: Sharing Blessings & Barriers,” a workshop focused on the changing roles of women in the church, will be presented on March 5 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Ursuline Motherhouse, 3115 Lexington Road.

Sister of Loretto Maureen Fiedler, host of the National Public Radio program “Interfaith Voices,” will be the guest speaker. The workshop also will include an opportunity to share ones story and listen to those of others in small groups.

The event is free, but donations will be accepted. Coffee and a simple breakfast will be provided.
