Nativity Academy at St. Boniface names new principal

Nativity Academy at St. Boniface, 529 E. Liberty St., announced in late April that Jamie Oleka was named principal. Oleka will take the place of Jessica Farrell who is leaving at the end of the 2019-2020 school year.

Oleka teaches science at W.E.B. DuBois Academy and prior to that taught science at Southern High School. She is also a member of the Nativity Academy Associate Board.

Oleka has earned master’s degrees in instructional accommodation and secondary education and teaching as well as an educational specialist degree in educational leadership and administration.

Nativity is an independent Catholic school that serves children from low-income families in fifth- through eighth-grade. Nativity also works with students in high school and college through its graduate support program.
