The Archdiocese of Louisville Office of Multicultural Ministry and the Ministry Institute will present the first course in the Multicultural Ministry Certificate Program on Sept. 9 from 9 a.m. to noon at Sacred Heart Schools on the Ursuline campus, 3105 Lexington Road.
The certificate program is offered to anyone “interested in developing a more inclusive and culturally diverse church, including priests, deacons, religious men and women, lay leaders, ministry leaders, catechetical ministers, educators and volunteers,” an announcement about the program said.
“The course focuses on prayer, theological reflection, experiential learning, spirituality, dialogue, and personal life experiences,” it said.
