Family Ministries Office to host financial program for couples

The Archdiocese of Louisville Family Ministries office will host the program “Building Your Financial Foundation” for newly married and engaged couples Oct. 7 and Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Gabriel Parish, 5505 Bardstown Road.

Jerry Zimmerer, a certified financial planner and a personal financial specialist, will present “proven financial practices and planning and explore how such critical tools and techniques can support, enrich and strengthen Catholic marriages,” said a statement from the Family Ministries Office. Couples, who should plan to attend both sessions, will use “their own personal data, desires and situations to come up with plans specifically designed to help them grow and succeed financially as they begin their married lives together.”

Pre-registration is required. The cost is $110 per couple and includes all materials, personalized content and lunch on both days. To register, visit https://bit.ly/2ouvYsQ.
