Knights hold state-wide free throw championship

RecordLogo-FForty-five students, ages 9 through 14, participated in the Knights of Columbus 2017 Kentucky State Free Throw Championship.

The basketball competition, hosted by Council #1290, took place at the end of March in Bardstown, Ky.

Twelve were named winners: Kate Werner and Emanuel Cheek of Bardstown, Ky.; Grayson Rhodes of Rhodelia, Ky.; Chloe Thompson of Lexington, Ky.; Jacob Bramel of Southgate, Ky.; Abigail Ward and Dilyn Skinner of Dawson Springs, Ky.; Natalie Bessler of Ft. Mitchell, Ky.; Callie Thompson and Jacob Noffsinger of Georgetown, Ky.; Katlyn Meyers of Crestwood, Ky.; and Wilfredo Hernandez of Independence, Ky.
