Dominican Sister Peace Bridget Major dies at age 87

Dominican Sister of Peace Bridget Major, 87, died Feb. 8 at Sansbury Care Center in St. Catharine, Ky.

Sister Major, a native of Ventress, La., entered the congregation of the Eucharistic Missionaries of St. Dominic in 1959. She ministered as a catechist for several years before becoming a registered nurse.
