Diaconate discernment and information sessions planned

The Archdiocese of Louisville is conducting discernment and information sessions to help men who are discerning a call to become a deacon.

These sessions enable men — and their wives if they’re married — to gather for prayer, learning, sharing and interaction with others discerning a call.

The next discernment evening will be held on March 7 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and an information session will be held on March 17 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Both sessions will be held at St. Lawrence Church, 1925 Lewiston Drive.

These are the last sessions for men interested in joining the Deacon Formation Class of 2024. The application deadline for the class of 2024 is April 1 and formation will begin in July.
