Benedictine Sister Geracitano makes final profession

Benedictine Sister Rachel Geracitano smiled as Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, members of her monastic community and guests applauded following her final profession of monastic vows of stability, fidelity and obedience to the monastic way of life Oct. 13 at at the Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, Ind.  Sister Geracitano attended the former St. Polycarp School and now serves at the Archdiocese of Louisville’s Catholic Cemeteries.
