At the Church of the Annunciation in Shelbyville, Ky., Aug. 9, families filled the parish’s new pews during a Mass in Spanish.
The new seating was blessed by Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz and Father Michael Tobin, pastor, during the 12:30 p.m. liturgy.
In addition to installing new pews, the parish has done restoration work on the exterior of its historic chapel and updated roofing, interior paint, and lighting in the church.
