Walk for Life will begin at 10 a.m. at Trinity High School Sept. 9

walk-wThe 39th annual Walk for Life will be held on Sept. 9. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk will begin at 10 a.m. at Trinity High School, 4011 Shelbyville Road.

Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz will give the invocation before hundreds of people take part in the walk, meant to show opposition to abortion, euthanasia, assisted suicide, cloning and embryonic stem cell research.

Proceeds from the walk will benefit the Kentucky Right to Life Association. Walkers who collect $60 and families that collect $100 will receive free T-shirts. For more information and sponsor pledge forms, call 895-5959 or visit www.krla.org.
