Rock the Heart Showdown
The Trinity High School lacrosse team will play the Sacred Heart Academy lacrosse team in the “Rock the Heart Showdown” Oct. 3 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Norton Field, 3175 Lexington Road. The charity game will benefit the Norton Cancer Institute.
Chili supper
The Trinity High School wrestling team will hold its annual “all you can eat” chili supper Oct. 12 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the school’s Alumni Hall, 4011 Shelbyville Road. The cost is $7. Children under 5 get one free chili with the purchase of an adult meal. There will also be a silent auction. All proceeds benefit the Trinity wrestling team.
National Anthem
More than 260 Sacred Heart Preschool students celebrated the 198th birthday of the National Anthem on Sept. 25 at the school. The students, ages one to five, marched with flags and formed the stripes of the flag in the bleachers.
‘Imagine’ video
Assumption High School has released a music video titled “Imagine” that features an original song with students singing several scenes throughout the building. In the video, various areas of the school and symbols that demonstrate the school’s mission and values are shown.
