Winter clothing and blankets are needed by Catholic Charities

Throughout October and November, Catholic Charities Migration and Refugee Services is collecting winter clothing and blankets.

Among items most needed are full-size blankets, fleece throws, coats, jackets, gloves, hats and scarves for adults and children.

In addition, Catholic Charities is always in need of household furniture, such as couches, lamps, kitchen tables and chairs, chests of drawers, mattresses, bedding, and other household basics. Volunteers also are needed.

To donate or volunteer, call Chris Clements, community resource developer, at 636-9263, ext. 125.
