Mr. and Mrs. Henry Glass, members of St. Bartholomew Church, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary today, June 3. Mrs. Glass, the former Sandra Roy, retired as a customer service representative from Sears Home Central. Mr. Glass retired from the City of Louisville Information Systems after 28 years and as the mayor of the city of Meadowview Estates. The couple have three children, six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Col. (Ret.) and Mrs. Thomas Joseph Marks, members of St. Michael Church, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 5. Mrs. Marks, the former Linda Ann Hartman, retired as a registered nurse after 47 years. Col. Marks retired after 39 years as an electrical engineer for the Kentucky Air National Guard. The couple have two children and two grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Craig M. Gates, members of Immaculate Conception Church in La Grange, Ky., will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on June 6. Mrs. Gates, the former Jola Potycki, and Mr. Gates are retired. The couple have two children and four grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. James Joseph Hartman, members of Holy Family Church, will celebrate their 74th wedding anniversary June 7. Mrs. Hartman, the former Anna Marie Pfaadt, is a housewife. Mr. Hartman retired as a planner and estimator with the Naval Ordnance Station. The couple have three children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
