Holy Trinity Church in Fredericktown, Ky., will hold a Fatima Parish Mission May 8 to May 11 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the church basement to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the apparition of Mary to three children in Fatima, Portugal.

Dr. Michael Quigley, who has taught Catholic education for more than 50 years, will serve as the mission speaker.

“This centenary offers us a unique opportunity for renewing and deepening our Catholic faith at a time when there is a serious crisis of faith in the West and in the church,” a news release from the parish said. “Consider joining us in a special opportunity for reflection, prayer and mutual encouragement.”

Topics will include: Our Lady of Fatima and the Collapse of Faith; Our Lady of Fatima and the Recovery of the Soul; Our Lady of Fatima and Mother of the Church; and Our Lady of Fatima and Our Spiritual Life.
