Ursuline Sister receives Trinity Peace Medal in recognition of her service

Ursuline Sister of Mount Saint Joseph Larraine Lauter is the recipient of Trinity High School’s 2021 Trinity Peace Medal.

Sister Lauter is the executive director of Water With Blessings, a local non-profit organization that brings clean drinking water to families in developing nations.

The school is recognizing Sister Lauter for “her decades of service as an educator, immigrant rights advocate and leader in using technology to advance clean water for vulnerable children in 48 countries and the Navajo Nation,” according to a press release from Water With Blessings.

Sister Lauter received the award at Trinity’s outdoor commencement ceremony May 22.
