Ursuline Sister Catherine Therese Barber, a teacher, dies at 93 

Ursuline Sister of Mount St. Joseph Catherine Therese Barber

Ursuline Sister of Mount St. Joseph Catherine Therese Barber died March 25 at Mount St. Joseph in Maple Mount, Ky. She was 93 and in her 73rd year of religious life. 

Sister Barber, a native of Springfield, Ky., served as a teacher in the Archdiocese of Louisville at St. Columba School (1955-59), St. Leonard School (1964-65), St. Denis School (1975-77) and St. Francis School in St. Francis (1959-64). She also served as principal of St. Christopher School in Radcliff (1968-70).

She is survived by her nieces and nephews and members of her religious community.

The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on March 31 at Mount St. Joseph.
