Trinity student becomes Eagle Scout

Derek Cornwell, a senior at Trinity High School, was named an Eagle Scout by the Boy Scouts of America. He is a member of Troop 67 at St. Stephen Martyr Church.

For his project, Derek built coffee and end tables for the Gratitude House Transitional Living Recovery Center. The center, which serves individuals recovering from drug and alcohol addiction,  is operated by “Fed with Faith,” a non-profit organization located in Old Louisville.
