St. Xavier student creates Eagle Scout project

John Roberts — a member of Boy Scout Troop 319 at St. Leonard Church — has created a garden and a statue in honor of the women and children who receive services at Lifehouse, 2710 Riedling Drive.

Roberts, a St. Xavier High School student, worked on the garden and statue as his Eagle Scout project.

The statue will be unveiled Sept. 22 during a ceremony where Roberts will receive his Eagle Scout award.
