Father Ron Domhoff, pastor of St. Peter the Apostle Church, picked up the papal tradition of blessing nativity scene figurines of the baby Jesus — bambinelli — on Guadete Sunday, the third Sunday of Advent, Dec. 15. Children of the parish were invited to bring their own figurines to Mass and have them blessed.
