Carleigh Hofelich, a sixth-grader at St. Patrick School, collected 380 pairs of shoes through her annual “Carleigh’s Kicks for Kids” fundraiser. The shoes were delivered Jan. 17 to Our Lady of Peace Hospital for children and teens receiving treatment at the hospital.
Hofelich started “Carleigh’s Kicks for Kids” in 2013 and since then she’s collected more than 1,000 pairs of shoes for needy children.
