St. James hosts Catholic recording artist for night of music, prayer

St. James Church in Elizabethtown, Ky., will host a night of music and prayer entitled “Intentional Disciples — Mary, the Apostles and Us!” featuring Julie Carrick Sept. 17 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Carrick is a Catholic recording artist, speaker, radio producer and host. The event will include music, personal witness and a celebration of the Catholic faith “reflecting the corporal works of mercy, reconciliation and Eucharist,” a news release from the parish said.
