St. Francis student named National Science Finalist

Owen Park, an eighth-grade student at St. Francis of Assisi School, has been named a finalist in the Thermo Fisher Junior Innovator Challenge National Science Fair. He is one of 30 finalists who will compete in Washington, D.C., in October, according to a release from the school. His project “explores repelling Martian dust using electric fields,” said the release.
