St. Aloysius students lend a hand during Lent

Twin sisters Reese Hall, left, and Sydney Hall, students at St. Aloysius School,  worked to build a ramp at the home of a wheelchair-bound resident in the Appalachia area of Kentucky April 5.

Seventh-graders, below from left, Reese Hall, Sydney McDill, Sydney Hall and Christine Very spoke to classmates about Catholic Relief Services’ Rice Bowl. The students also organized a school-wide drive which yielded close to $4,000 for the collection. (Photos special to The Record)
