The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth (SCN) has released a CD with a collection of gospel and spiritual songs recorded by Sister Pat Haley at St. Vincent Church on the sister’s Nazareth, Ky., campus over the summer.
The CD entitled, “Old Gospel & Spirituals,” features gospel song such as “Steal Away” and “Come to Jesus.”
The CD also features African-American spiritual songs from the civil rights movement such as “Oh Freedom” and “I’m On My Way to Freedom Land.”
The CD is available for sale for $5 at the SCN Visitor Center or can be downloaded at scnfamily.bandcamp.com. Funds raised from the sale of CDs will beneft the SCN Missions.
