Sister of St. Benedict Jeanne Ellen Niehaus will celebrate the 50th anniversary of her profession of vows June 2.
Sister Niehaus serves as the social services coordinator for St. John Center for Homeless Men. Sister Niehaus also served in social services at the Refugee Training Center, Our Lady of Peace Hospital and Harmony House in Louisville.
A jubilarian Mass is planned for 1 p.m. at the monastery church in Ferdinand, Ind. A reception for family and friends will follow in the monastery event hall.
