Sister Marie Flowers makes first vows as a Sister of Charity of Nazareth

SCNThe Sisters of Charity of Nazareth announced recently that Marie Flowers professed first vows as a Sister of Charity of Nazareth on June 14. Sister Flowers, a native of Detroit, Mich., professed vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. She is a social worker and currently works with CASA of the River Region.

Also, two Sisters of Charity of Nazareth renewed their vows in August — Sister Isa García, a pastoral minister at St. Rita Church and a native of Mexico, and Sister Paris Slapikas, a social worker serving at the Center for Women and Families.
