‘Race to Beat Poverty’ will aid Sister Visitor Center – CANCELLED

“The Race to Beat Poverty,” a fundraiser for the Sister Visitor Center, will be held at Churchill Downs on Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. The evening will include horse racing, dinner and an open bar.

Proceeds from the event will help Sister Visitor, part of Catholic Charities of Louisville, in its mission to aid people in need in West Louisville.

Tickets are $250 each and a set of two tables with a total of 16 seats is $4,000. One table for eight is $2,000 and four seats can be reserved for $1,000. Tickets can be purchased online at cclou.org or by contacting the charity’s director, Sister Michele Intravia, at 873-2566, ext. 112, or mintravia@archlou.org.
