Dr. Pat Norris, who serves on the Archdiocese of Louisville’s Metropolitan Tribunal, will discuss marriage in the Catholic Church during a program at Holy Trinity Church, 401 Cherrywood Road, on Aug. 26 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the adult formation room.
The program will address several questions about marriage, according to an announcement. Among those questions are, “What elements are essential to marriage in the eyes of the church? If your marriage did not follow the prescribed form for a Catholic marriage what can be done so the church can celebrate marriage with you? What is the annulment process and under what conditions must a Catholic seek an annulment in order to marry validly in the church?” the announcement said.
