Pro-Life Memorial Mass set for Jan. 22 at St. Martin of Tours Church

archloulogo-wArchbishop Joseph E. Kurtz will celebrate the Pro-Life Memorial Mass Jan. 22 at 3 p.m. at St. Martin of Tours Church, 639 S. Shelby St.

The Mass, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians, “is dedicated to the protection of the unborn and to lift our hearts to the Lord to help change the hearts of our country from a culture of death to a culture that celebrates life, and defends all lives from conception to natural death,” said a statement from the organizers.

Parishes are encouraged to send a representative who will be given a “Rose for Life” during the liturgy. Parishes wishing to send a representative should contact Celesta Arnold at 439-6276 or celesta.arnold58@gmail.com.
