Parishioners donate nearly $400,000 for disaster relief

The Archdiocese of Louisville held several special collections for the relief efforts of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria as well as the earthquakes in Mexico earlier this fall.

Parishioners donated $318,204.63 for the Hurricane Harvey collection, $25,653.89 for the Hurricane Irma collection, $24,530.41 for the Hurricane Maria collection and $5,024.64 for earthquake relief efforts in Mexico.

Contributions supported the reconstruction and pastoral needs of the church as well as humanitarian and recovery assistance through Catholic Charities USA and Catholic Relief Services.
