Parish mission will be held at St. Agnes Oct. 27-30

Good Shepherd, St. William and St. Agnes churches are sponsoring a parish mission to be held at St. Agnes, 1920 Newburg Road, Oct. 27-30.

The mission will begin with a “coffee house concert” by Tom Tomaszek called “Spirit, Song and Story: A Concert of Hope and Gratitude” on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. in the church.

The theme of the mission is “signed, sealed, sent.” The Oct. 28 session, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the church, will focus on the theme, “Signed in Baptism.” It will include evening prayer and hospitality afterward in Aloysius Hall.

The mission will continue with day and evening sessions — both offering the same messages —on Oct. 29 and 30.

The Oct. 29 sessions will be from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the church. Both sessions will focus on the theme “Sealed with the Holy Spirit.” The latter session will include evening prayer.

On Oct. 30, the sessions will focus on the theme of “Sent to be Disciples” and will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The evening session will include Mass.

For more information, call the St. Agnes parish office at 451-2220.
