Nine ‘outstanding’ high school students recognized by mayor’s office

Nine students who attend Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of Louisville were among the 49 students recognized by Mayor Greg Fischer as recipients of the annual Mayor’s Outstanding High School Seniors Award.

The young people honored have excelled in and out of the classroom, according to information on louisvilleky.gov.

The following students were recognized at Metro Hall May 6:
Carly Crawford, Assumption High School; Nigel Blackburn, DeSales High School; Margaret Cunningham, Sacred Heart Academy; Avani Patel, Bethlehem High School; Jaden Johnson, Holy Cross High School; Emma Schurfranz, Mercy Academy; Alexis Cammack, Presentation Academy; Camden Horelick, St. Xavier High School; and Carson Malone, Trinity High School.
