Multicultural Marian Celebration will be held May 11

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry will host a Multicultural Marian Celebration May 11 at 11 a.m. at St. John Vianney Church, 4939 Southside Drive.

The purpose of the event, according to a news release from the multicultural ministry office, is to come together as a community to honor and celebrate the Blessed Virgin Mary through prayer, Scripture and song.

The celebration will include a reflection on Mary, serenading Mary with traditional Marian hymns, praying the living rosary in different languages, a procession of flowers and images of Mary and crowning a statue of Mary.
