Mercy Academy senior Breanna Elkin won the Kentucky High School Athletic Association state singles bowling championship, which took place at Collins Eastland Bowling Center in Lexington Feb. 9.
On the same day, senior Sarah Offutt competed in swimming at the University of Louisville where she won the region five sportsmanship swimming award.
