Mercy Academy senior honored for fund-raising

Mercy Academy senior Emma Schurfranz was named the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Student of the Year on March 8.
Schurfranz raised $15,757.25 by speaking at Masses and requesting donations at St. Athanasius Church and St. John Paul II Church. Home Depot was a matching donor for all funds raised at St. Athanasius.
