Louisville United Against Violence event set for Sept. 30 in West End

The non-profit group Louisville United Against Violence (LUAV), formerly Hands Across Louisville, is sponsoring an event from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 30 to promote unity and advocate for an end to gun violence in West Louisville.

The event will start with an interfaith service at 2 p.m. at St. Augustine Church, 1310 W. Broadway, followed by speakers, music, performances and a hand-holding chain along Broadway. For more information, visit louisvilleunitedagainstviolence.weebly.com.
