Kosair official will speak to school leaders about ending child abuse

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s “lunch and learn” program for counselors and principals will sponsor a presentation on ending child abuse by Dr. Melissa Currie on Feb. 23 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Flaget Center, 1935 Lewiston Drive.

Currie is the medical director and chief at Kosair Charities division of pediatric forensic medicine. The presentation is part of Kosair Charities’ “face it” movement to educate the public on child abuse.
