Knights of Columbus raises funds for Water With Blessings

The Knights of Columbus Bishop Flaget Council at St. Bernadette Church hosted a benefit concert, featuring The Monarchs band, June 22 at St. Mary Academy.

The event raised over $13,000. All proceeds went to benefit Water With Blessings, a local non-profit led by Ursuline Sister of Mount St. Joseph Larraine Lauter which brings clean drinking water to families in developing nations. Water With Blessings has launched a campaign to eradicate cholera in the entire country of Haiti. Larry Kessler, chancellor of the Bishop Flaget Council, said they wanted to contribute to that goal.
