Interfaith women’s workshop planned Oct. 29 at St. Agnes Church

The Salaam Network will present a women’s workshop entitled “Challenges for Women: Enduring Wisdom from the Native American, Jewish, Christian and Islamic Traditions,” from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 29 at St. Agnes Church, 1920 Newburg Road.

The workshop, open to women of all faith traditions, will explore “many of the treasures of enduring women’s wisdom that may serve as a catalyst to greater personal wholeness,” according to a statement from organizers.

The cost is $20 per person and tickets are limited. Tickets can be purchased at https://salaamwomensworkshop.eventbrite.com.

The Salaam Network is a local interfaith group “committed to building bridges of understanding and harmony,” according to the statement. The event is sponsored in part by the Cathedral of the Assumption and the Passionist Earth and Spirit Center.
