Interfaith thanksgiving meal set for Nov. 20

The eighth annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Meal/Discussion — organized by Interfaith Paths to Peace — will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at Keneseth Israel Synagogue, 2531 Taylorsville Road.

Father Joe Graffis, a senior priest in the Archdiocese of Louisville, is a member of the planning committee. Father Graffis said organizers are hoping to host between 400 to 500 individuals for a “simple dinner and facilitated practical table discussion about overcoming divisions and polarization within our community.”

The cost is $20 per individual and $40 per family. To purchase tickets by Nov. 11, visit www.interfaith-thanksgiving-2023.eventbrite.com. Scholarships are available for those who may not be able to afford the cost of a ticket.

Organizers are also asking for donations to help with the cost of the meal and meal scholarships. Donations should be sent to Interfaith Paths to Peace, Interfaith Thanksgiving Meal, 2500 Montgomery St., Louisville, Ky., 40212.
