SERVICES, DEVOTIONS
A Mass to observe All Souls’ Day, Nov. 2, will be celebrated at Calvary Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Road, in the Priest Section at 11 a.m. Father Jeffery P. Shooner, vicar general, will be the celebrant.
The Mass will be celebrated for all deceased members of the Archdiocese of Louisville.
The Marian Center, 165 Sears Avenue, will host Days of Prayer for Priests, Deacons, Consecrated and Seminarians Nov. 6-10, which overlaps with National Vocation Awareness Week.
Mass will begin each day at 10 a.m. in the chapel and continuous prayer will last until 3 p.m.
“An Evening with the Saints,” hosted by St. Louis Bertrand Church, 1104 S. Sixth St., on Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. The event will include readings from the saints, chanted Evening Prayer and Litany of the Saints, and a blessing and procession to the church reliquary.
Reconciliation will be available before the prayer service beginning at 6:30 p.m., and a reception will be held in O’Brien Hall following the prayer service.
The Marian Committee will hold a First Saturday Devotion at the Cathedral of the Assumption, 433 S. Fifth St., on Nov. 4. Mass will be at 9 a.m. followed by the devotion and reconciliation at 9:30 a.m.
The devotion includes exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, adoration and Benediction, the rosary with meditation and sacred music by Dr. Emily Meixner.
A Wedding Anniversary Mass of Thanksgiving, honoring couples marking 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of marriage in 2023 will be celebrated Nov. 26 at noon. Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre will be the celebrant at the liturgy, which will be held at the Cathedral of the Assumption, 433 S. Fifth St.
Pre-registration, which is required, can be made by calling your parish office. The registration deadline is Nov. 10.

RETREATS
The Saint Serra Club’s Fall Retreat will be held Nov. 11 at St. Margaret Mary Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. following 8:15 a.m. Mass.

A Maranatha Retreat, designed for those who are chronically ill and their caregivers, will be held at the Nazareth Retreat Center in Nazareth, Ky., from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 4.

OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY
The Schuhmann Social Service Center, a ministry of the Shrine of St. Martin of Tours, is in need of volunteers and clean, new or gently used towels, comforters, blankets and sheets in all sizes.

The Knights of Columbus Bardstown Council 1290 is hosting its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive from Oct. 28 through Nov. 30. All proceeds benefit people who are food insecure in Nelson County by way of the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.
Collection bins will be placed in the rear of Nelson County churches to accept nonperishable, canned and packaged food items. Monetary donations are especially useful and can be mailed to Knights of Columbus, 107 North Fourth Street, Bardstown, Ky., 40004.

“Our Blessed Mother Mary — Songs, Reflections, Prayer,” a program presented by St. Athanasius Church’s music ministry, will be Nov. 5 at 4 p.m. at the church, 5915 Outer Loop.
