St. X. students raced ahead of more than 2,500 walkers and runners gathered last Sunday on the Belvedere in downtown Louisville for the 37th annual Hunger Walk, organized by Dare to Care Food Bank and Interfaith Paths to Peace. Students from Catholic schools and parishioners from several Catholic churches also joined in the event. A Dare to Care spokesperson said participants raised more than $100,000 to benefit the Dare to Care Food Bank and the World Food Program. (Photo Special to The Record by Father Patrick Delahanty)
