Hildegard House to offer volunteer training sessions Sept. 7 and 8

Hildegard House — a local non-profit organization that provides a home and care to homeless individuals at the end of their lives — will hold volunteer training sessions Sept. 7 and 8.

Volunteers are the “heart of Hildegard House,” said a press release. “Fulfilling the mission of Hildegard House to ‘provide compassion and care at the end of life for individuals who have no home or loved ones to care for them so that they may die with dignity,’ would not be possible without the generosity and dedication of our volunteers,” said the release.

Individuals interested in volunteering may contact Hildegard House at 581-8267 or visit www.hildegardhouse.org.
