Formation sessions for extraordinary ministers of holy Communion set

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s  Office of Worship will offer formation sessions for extraordinary ministers of holy Communion in June.

Communion minister formation sessions will be June 18 and 19 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Flaget Center, 1935 Lewiston Drive. This four-hour program is for those preparing to serve as extraordinary ministers of holy Communion, as well as those who are presently serving in this role but have not attended this program in the past.

An update session will be held June 25 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Loretto, Ky. The Communion minister update session is for ministers who need a mandate renewal.

There is no fee for the programs, but registration is required.
