Flaget Memorial announces affiliation with Cleveland Clinic

Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, Ky., announced a new affiliation with the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center last week.

Patients and oncologists in the Bardstown area will have access to “highly specialized treatment options and the ability to consult with world-renowned experts and subspecialists at one of the top five cancer centers in the country,” according to a press release from Flaget Memorial.

Flaget Memorial is part of the CHI Saint Joseph Health System. The new affiliation is formally between the CHI Saint Joseph Health — Cancer Care Center and the Cleveland Clinic, according to the release.

The Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and cares for thousands of patients each year through a network of physicians, researchers, nurses and technicians, the release said. To learn more, visit https://www.chisaintjosephhealth.org/hope.
