Parishioners of Holy Spirit Church and mentor volunteers from Catholic Charities took the Maria Mulebo family, a recently-arrived refugee family of 10 from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to the University of Louisville Mens’ Soccer game on Oct. 16.

At their first collegiate soccer game in the United States, the family saw Louisville win in double overtime 2 to 1 over Boston College. Local families are invited to volunteer with Catholic Charities as mentors to new refugee families.
