‘Electronics Drop-off Day’ will help Catholic Charities

An “Electronics Drop-off Day” to support Catholic Charities will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 28 at Immaculate Conception Church, 502 N. Fifth St., in LaGrange, Ky.

Recycled household electronic devices will help raise money for Catholic Charities while, at the same time, helping to protect the environment by keeping those devices out of landfills.

Items accepted at the event include cables, CD-ROM drives, cell phones, circuit boards, computer speakers, CPUs, CRT monitors, docking stations, DVD players, fax machines, hard drives, keyboards, lap tops, LCD monitors, mainframes, microwaves and others electronic devices.

Not accepted items include batteries, light bulbs, ballasts and appliances

A $5 charge will apply to the disposal of television sets, LCD and CRT monitors.
