Boy Scout Troop 17 will celebrate its 80th anniversary

Troop 17 of the Boy Scouts of America, located at St. Elizabeth Church, 1020 E. Burnett Ave. — which according to a news release from the troop, is the oldest, continuously registered Catholic Scouting Troop in the Archdiocese of Louisville — will celebrate its 80th anniversary with a reunion on July 19 at the church.

The event will begin with Mass at 4 p.m., followed by movies, pictures, memories and refreshments in the school cafeteria until 8 p.m.
